 Spice Up TCHO Life Cocktail

Yield: one cocktail

Hibiscus Simple Syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup dried hibiscus

Cocktail Assembly
6-8 raspberries
1 oz fresh lime juice
½ oz hibiscus syrup
8-10 drops Chocolate Mole Bitters
2 oz Casamigos Añejo Tequila
Splash of club soda
Edible flowers and a raspberry, for garnish

Hibiscus Simple Syrup

  1. In a medium saucepan, add the water and sugar.
  2. Heat on medium high heat until the sugar dissolve and mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Let boil for 1 minute and remove from heat.
  4. Add the hibiscus, cover with foil, and let steep for about 25 minutes.
  5. Strain and let cool.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.

Cocktail Assembly

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the raspberries and lime juice.
  2. Add the hibiscus syrup, bitters, tequila, and a scoop of ice. Seal and vigorously shake for about 30 seconds until cold.
  3. Strain over a rocks class with large square of ice and top with a splash of club soda. Garnish with a berries and an edible flower.
